Heritage Halton Hills Property Spotlight Survey #2

The Town provides a description and an image of each of the three designated heritage properties. The input from this short survey will determine which property will be highlighted next time for the "Heritage Halton Hills Property Spotlight" on LTHH.

Lilac Lawns, Norval:

A two-storey Classical Revival residential building constructed in 1856. The property contributes significantly to the historical character of the streetscape, including the lilac trees along the front of the existing house.

Rolling Hills Farm, Esquesing:

A two-story Gothic Revival house constructed by stone mason Frederick Near in 1883, as well as a large barn constructed circa 1890 which reflects the bank barn construction common to this area.

Moorecroft/Beatty House, Acton:

A Queen-Anne residential building built for local editor H.P Moore and designed by Toronto architect J.A. Ellis. The house is also associated with W. Beatty, manager of the Acton Tanning Company in 1926.
