We received a wide range of feedback from the community, with strong interest in obstacle‑course play, swings, and a post‑and‑deck play structure. Based on this input, our team developed two unique playground designs that each reflect different priorities shared by residents.
We invite you to pick your preferred design of the two options.
Please take a look at the playground examples below and tell us which direction you feel best supports play, accessibility, and community use.
Option 1 Obstacle Course and Play Structure
This option focuses on active movement, climbing challenges, and imaginative clubhouse‑style play. All components in Option 1 are accessible and designed to offer meaningful play opportunities for children of various ages and abilities.

These components help children develop body awareness, coordination, and sensory processing skills while providing fun, dynamic movement. Ground‑level features that encourage imagination, social interaction, and inclusive play. These elements ensure that children who prefer or require ground‑level play have engaging, meaningful options.

Option 2- Basket Swing and Play Structure
This option highlights swinging, sliding variety, and social imaginative play. All elements in Option 2 are accessible and designed to support inclusive, meaningful play for children of various ages and abilities.
Basket Swing
A basket swing allows children to swing alone or with friends, supporting shared play and a wide range of movement.
Play Structure
The main structure offers a variety of sliding and climbing experiences.
- A 6‑foot Lux slide for a fast, exciting ride
- A 3‑foot double slide that allows children to slide side‑by‑side
- Multiple accessible ways to reach the play deck, including a step climber, a dollar climber, and traditional stairs with a transfer station
These options support different abilities and preferences, ensuring children can climb and explore in ways that feel comfortable and engaging.
