Tolton Park Public Artwork: Creative Functional Seating

The Town of Halton Hills Public Art Masterplan identified Tolton Park as an ideal location for public art. Through the park design public consultation process in 2025, creative functional seating was determined as the preferred type of public art for the park.

Following a National call, a jury of arts professionals and community members shortlisted three artists to produce site-specific seating proposals for the park. The proposals can be reviewed below, and the community is encouraged to share their feedback. This feedback will be shared with the final selection panel for information during the adjudication process. Please provide feedback by May 11, 2026.

The Town will work with the successful artist to facilitate artwork installation in tandem with the overall park construction process.
