Town of Halton Hills Tree Voucher Survey 2025

The Town of Halton Hills values a healthy environment including all the benefits that trees provide.

Through the implementation of the Privately-owned Tree Management Strategy the Town recently completed the Tree Voucher Pilot Program.  

The goal of the Tree Voucher Pilot Program is to build a resilient tree canopy and increase the number of trees on private property by offering residents a discounted price on a tree purchase at participating retailers. The Pilot Program offered residents a $50 discount on a minimum $60 tree purchase from participating retailers (Halton Hills Garden Supplies in Acton, or Sheridan Nurseries in Georgetown) from April 25 to June 30, 2025.
