    Thank you for your questions.

Access will be maintained throughout construction, most significate restriction to access when curb is poured.  Notice will be provided 48 hours ahead in order to arrange for alternate parking. For 59 Maple Ave., we will have the contractor pour half the entrance at a time to maintain access for the complex.

We do not have a schedule for the work as construction starting dates are project-specific and weather dependent.  Written notices to affected residences will be provided prior to work commencing.

  • Share Is Mountainview from John St to Eden Pl. eventually going to be rehabilitated? The condition of this road and the only viable north-south route is an embarrassment. The road is so rough I go out of my way to avoid it, my truck will bounce sideways from the failed pavement and rough surface, and every car we've owned has had front end issues since we moved to Georgetown. on Facebook Share Is Mountainview from John St to Eden Pl. eventually going to be rehabilitated? Thank you for your question.

This year Mountainview Road, John Street to Maple Ave. is included for resurfacing.

The Town is in the process of coordinating some preliminary studies (including our Transportation Master Plan) and will be prioritizing sections of Mountainview Road for resurfacing or reconstruction in the future capital budget process.

    Thank you for your question.

The implementation of traffic calming devices is subject to an operational safety review based on the Town’s Neighbourhood Traffic Calming Protocol.

In order for Speed Humps to be warranted all conditions of the criterion must be met.
