MOUNTAINVIEW SENIORS HOME
This takes me back to memories of 2004 when the local catholic high-school's religion class has paired students with creating memories with the senior residents. In the end he visited him outside of this project and volunteered his time to keep him company and learned from his experience.
My son was then in 12th grade and he would come home full of awe sharing memories with an elderly man and actually creating a memory book for him.
Once the memory album was completed and presented to his family, his family sent my son a beautiful caring letter of thanks. He became part of a family gathering and upon the death of the gentleman he shared his time with, my son 💔 although brokenhearted of his passing was invited to a private gathering to celebrate his life.
FAMILY is important ❤ and he learned at that turning point of an age to care and cherish life of his elders and forge friendship.
