Join us for the first OPR Public Open House

Mark your calendars and join us to learn more about Halton Hills’ Official Plan Review (OPR) at our first Public Open House this June. With Halton Hills expected to grow in the coming years, we need a plan that will grow with us. This is your chance to learn about the Town’s approach to the OPR, most importantly, how we plan to preserve our community’s character while creating a vision for the future that aligns with provincial policies and our current strategic plan.

Thursday, June 26, 2025, 6-8 p.m. at the John Elliott Theatre (9 Church Street, Georgetown)

Join us for a brief presentation followed by interactive activities where you will have the opportunity to provide feedback on key project focus areas and more. Everyone is encouraged to participate; however, space is limited, so please make sure to register*.

Parking at the Cultural Centre is limited, additional parking is available in the Edith Street and Main Street Parking Lots. The Town has also arranged a FREE ActiVan shuttle for residents in need of alternate transportation to the Open House. The shuttle departs from Acton Arena at 5:30 p.m., with the return shuttle departing from the John Elliott Theatre at 8 p.m.

*Registration is not mandatory. However, due to limited space, we encourage residents to register so staff can ensure accommodation and communicate important updates about the open house.
