Limehouse Kiln Walking Trail

Our family has enjoyed numerous walks along the Limehouse Kiln trail during the last couple of years. It provides such a variety of experiences with bridges over water and a ladder to reach the upper portion of a magical tree and moss covered rock formation. This walk provides a wonderful break from our much to hectic day to day activities. Thank you

Acton Santa Parade and Christmas Market

Each year I look forward to the third Saturday in November when the Acton downtown becomes the site of an exciting community celebration. The annual Fire Fighters' Santa Claus Parade proceeds down Mill Street with floats, bands, and costumed marchers delighting the spectators, young and old, along the way. Now a tradition, everyone heads to see what seasonal treasures and treats the vendors have prepared for the Christmas Market at the Acton Town Hall Centre.

A local tradition that is over 100 years old - the Acton Fall Fair is a great community event. Every September there are hundreds of volunteers who put together an amazing fair - highlighting agriculture with 4H events, horse and cattle shows and tractor pulling competitions. There is a baby show, horseshoe pitching competition, homecraft entries and of course the midway. It's always a fun time - and we are lucky to have the support of a wonderful community and so many local businesses! The beer tent is a popular spot to sit and have a drink while catching up…
