Join us for a Public Open House on May 7, 2026

Join us for an Open House to discuss the proposed Georgetown GO Station Protected Major Transit Station Area.

Date: Thursday, May 7, 2026
Time: 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Location: Mold-Masters SportsPlex, Alcott Room (221 Guelph Street, Georgetown)

The purpose of the Open House is to inform the public of the Town’s intent to establish a Protected Major Transit Station Area (PMTSA) for the Georgetown GO Station. The proposed Georgetown GO PMTSA is located within the larger Georgetown GO Station/Mill Street Corridor Secondary Plan study area. Land use designations and associated policies will focus on planning for transit-oriented mixed-use development, as required by the Provincial Planning Statement.

Join us at the Open House to:
Updates to the Georgetown GO Station Area/Mill Street Corridor Secondary Plan project, including the direction to establish a smaller PMTSA around the Georgetown GO Station. The PMSTA boundary and draft policies for its land use designations. Final steps required to seek approval for the PMTSA and Secondary Plan, and bring the project to a close.

Comments, questions, and concerns from those in attendance are also welcome as part of the discussion. Explore this project page to learn more.
