The Town of Halton Hills is updating their Green Development Standards. Originally introduced in 2010, the standards were updated in 2014 to include industrial, commercial, institutional and multi-use buildings. This, the third update, will be applicable to all new developments and major additions that submit a rezoning, subdivision or site plan control application and is scheduled to roll out this fall.

The presentation and associated survey is to gather feedback from key stakeholders on the proposed new measures. This survey will be open for two weeks and the input will be used to inform the staff report and future public information meetings.

    Green Development Standards Survey

    The Town of Halton Hills is updating their Green Development Standards. RWDI, an engineering consulting firm engaged by the Town, has been tasked with updating the standards in collaboration with the Town and its stakeholders. The intent of this survey is to gather feedback from key stakeholders regarding the draft measures being proposed.

    The draft of the new Green Development Standards proposes measures across four categories:

     Energy & Water

     Transportation

     Ecology

     Resiliency

    The results of this short, anonymous survey will be used to inform the staff report and future public information meetings.
