Tolton Park Functional Seating Artwork

Tolton Park was identified through the Town of Halton Hills Public Art Masterplan as an ideal location for public art.  Through the park design, public consultation process that took place in 2025, Functional Seating Artwork was determined as the preferred type of art for the park.

A call for artists took place in early 2026 and from that process a jury selected a shortlist of three artists to produce site specific Functional Seating Artwork proposals.  The proposals can be reviewed below and opportunity to provide feedback on your preference and any comments about the artwork.  One artist will be selected to commission their artwork.

The Town will work with the successful artist to develop the functional seating artwork and have it installed nearing the completion of the overall park construction process.
