Over the last few years, a number of studies have been undertaken to assess the need for traffic calming on Churchill Road North and the results showed that additional measures warrant consideration. In June of 2021, residents living within the neighbourhood and motorists driving on affected roads were encouraged to participate in a Virtual Public Information Centre (PIC) to review the proposed traffic calming plan and provide valuable feedback.

Based on this public feedback and traffic study results, staff submitted a final recommendation report to Town Council on October 25, 2021. Town Council has endorsed the final recommendation report and will be implementing the traffic calming measures in 2022.
